New Showbiz Analysis

Naufragi moves away from typical patriarchal structures by centering female resilience and the impact of global displacement. The relationship between the protagonist and a displaced outsider introduces a broader perspective on human vulnerability. While the film lacks explicit LGBTQ+ markers, it successfully incorporates the immigrant experience to add complexity. However, the absence of disability representation and clear queer identifiers limits its overall diversity impact. It remains a character-driven exploration of resilience and connection in times of crisis.
