New Showbiz Analysis

Cocorico uses humor to explore the clash between aristocratic and modest families. By focusing on DNA testing, the film questions the stability of social standing and lineage. The film's strength lies in its ability to challenge traditional Western hierarchies. The unexpected outcomes of ancestral testing offer a way to disrupt established class structures and the legitimacy of inherited status. However, the film does not delve deeply into multi-layered complexities. Without clear representation of diverse identities or specific character's ability to drive the story, the narrative focuses on socioeconomic disruption rather than identity-based storytelling.
