New Showbiz Analysis

The film adheres to a standard horror structure where a group of friends confronts a supernatural threat. While it includes elements of Egyptian mythology, the narrative remains grounded in conventional Western genre clichés. Representation is limited, focusing on survival and moral retribution rather than exploring diverse identities or social hierarchies. The cast and character dynamics align with mainstream horror expectations. Ultimately, the film serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of dark arts, without delving into deeper, multi-layered themes.
