New Showbiz Analysis

Unthinkable operates within the conventional boundaries of the geopolitical thriller genre. Its narrative structure heavily relies on established clichés, focusing on male-driven investigations and institutional hierarchies. Though set in Syria, the film’s emphasis on diplomacy and conspiracy suggests a traditional Western perspective. The absence of identity-driven storytelling limits its exploration of diverse lived experiences or the subversion of social norms.
