AI Analysis
Turbulence is a high-concept 1990s thriller that prioritizes visceral tension over progressive narrative experimentation. It functions as a closed-system survival drama that reinforces established social hierarchies rather than challenging them. The film's architecture is built upon the preservation of order against individual criminality. While the female lead offers a degree of agency, the lack of intersectional depth and diverse casting keeps the narrative within very traditional bounds. Ultimately, the film serves as a product of its era, utilizing standard genre tropes and a binary struggle between authority and chaos.
