AI Analysis

The Wait is a character-driven psychological horror that prioritizes individual morality and existential dread. The narrative follows a classic descent-into-madness structure centered on the consequences of greed and corruption. Because the film focuses on a singular male protagonist's struggle with a bribe, it adheres to traditional social hierarchies. It lacks intentional efforts to integrate intersectional identities or disrupt conventional social structures. Ultimately, the film functions as a study of personal accountability and supernatural consequence rather than a vehicle for systemic critique or diverse representation.
