AI Analysis

Role Models is a character-driven comedy centered on the arrested development of its two male protagonists. While it offers a comedic deconstruction of traditional masculine leadership by highlighting the leads' incompetence, it remains a narrow narrative. The film lacks intersectional depth, prioritizing slapstick and situational absurdity over the exploration of identity-based power dynamics. The setting and cast remain largely homogeneous, offering little representation for marginalized groups. Ultimately, the film operates within a conventional comedic framework that treats identity as secondary to the central plot of mentorship and chaos.
