AI Analysis
Range Runners operates primarily as a conventional survival thriller. While it avoids some gendered clichés by empowering its female lead, it lacks the intersectional depth found in more progressive cinema. The film's strength lies in its subversion of gender hierarchies, placing a woman in a position of active resilience against male antagonists. However, this agency is not matched by broader social or cultural representation. Ultimately, the narrative follows established genre expectations. It fails to incorporate diverse casting or systemic critiques, resulting in a narrow focus on individual survival rather than complex social dynamics.
