New Showbiz Analysis

Darker Than Night operates as a traditional horror film, sticking to well-known genre conventions. Its main strength is the female-centric narrative, which shifts the focus away from male-dominated horror stories. However, the film lacks depth in representing diverse identities. The absence of racial diversity, LGBTQ+ characters, and disability representation means it does not challenge broader societal norms.
