AI Analysis

The film offers a refreshing take on the survival horror genre by centering a female protagonist with military experience. This background provides Kate with a level of agency and psychological depth that challenges standard tropes. However, the film lacks broader intersectional complexity. The narrative focus remains narrow, leaving questions about racial, cultural, and LGBTQ+ representation unanswered. Ultimately, while the gendered agency is a notable strength, the lack of diverse demographic visibility prevents a more robust diversity profile.
