New Showbiz Analysis

Easy Money distinguishes itself by challenging traditional gender roles, featuring a powerful woman at the heart of a high-stakes heist. This choice effectively counters the era's typical portrayal of women in films. The film adopts a globalist perspective, assembling an international cast that reflects a more interconnected world. This approach contrasts with many films of the time that are more insular. However, the narrative still leans on conventional romantic clichés. While the protagonist embodies non-conformity, the central plot revolves around the classic conflict between law enforcement and criminals.
