AI Analysis

Boyfriend's Deceit functions as a conventional suspense thriller that adheres to established genre tropes. While the film provides a female lead with central agency, the narrative remains rooted in traditional storytelling structures rather than exploring intersectional complexities. The plot centers on a singular protagonist navigating a criminal accusation, which limits the scope of social or systemic critique. The focus on a heterosexual relationship and Western legal frameworks suggests a narrow narrative lens. Ultimately, the film lacks the diverse casting and progressive themes necessary to move beyond a standard genre piece. It prioritizes suspense over social representation.
