AI Analysis

Benoît Jacquot’s history with character-driven narratives suggests a sophisticated approach to human agency. The film uses a domestic thriller framework to examine interpersonal tensions and social instability rather than relying on formulaic tropes. While the film lacks explicit evidence of intersectional complexity or diverse casting, its focus on female subjectivity and the breakdown of institutional trust provides a foundation for nuanced social critique. The setting and character roles offer a platform for exploring systemic suspicion. Ultimately, the film appears to be a psychological study of a disrupted household. It prioritizes the deconstruction of established social norms over overt, high-level diversity markers.
