AI Analysis
Bad Nun: Deadly Vows operates within conventional horror frameworks, relying heavily on religious iconography and suspense tropes. While the film features female leads, it does not appear to subvert traditional hierarchies or offer intersectional depth. The narrative focuses on a family facing religious persecution, which aligns with standard Western moralistic structures. This focus limits the scope for diverse cultural or identity-based exploration. Ultimately, the film prioritizes genre-standard religious conflict over progressive representation or the deconstruction of institutional norms.
