AI Analysis
Russian Spleen operates as a fragmented comedy that thrives on chaos and moral ambiguity. It succeeds in disrupting traditional social expectations by deconstructing gendered professional stereotypes and nationalistic tropes. However, the film remains limited by a lack of LGBTQ+ visibility and any representation of disability. While it avoids traditionalist storytelling through its chaotic structure, it relies on specific archetypes to drive its social critique. Ultimately, the film offers a layered look at systemic absurdity, using ethnic subplots and gendered conflict to challenge the stability of conventional social pillars.
