New Showbiz Analysis

The Frontier succeeds in challenging traditional gender roles by centering a actively leading female protagonist who outmaneuvers a criminal underworld. Her strategic planning shifts the power dynamic away from traditional masculine leadership. However, the film lacks depth in other areas. There is no information regarding racial or ethnic diversity, and the presence of LGBTQ+ characters remains unverified. Ultimately, while the film offers a compelling critique of legal authority and gendered power, its lack of visible diversity in race and identity limits its overall impact.
