New Showbiz Analysis

The film presents a standard psychological thriller structure with a homogeneous cast. The central relationship is a heterosexual marriage where gender roles follow conventional patterns. Roy drives the investigation, while Teena is framed as a supportive domestic figure who disappears. This dynamic positions the male lead as the active agent and the female lead as the emotional anchor. The setting is strictly regional, with all characters being South Asian and no racial diversity present. There are no LGBTQ+ characters or disability narratives depicted. The story relies on traditional family bonds as stabilizing forces within a secular context. The lack of diverse representation is consistent with the specific regional and genre constraints of the film.
