New Showbiz Analysis

Sick of it All is a character-driven film that explores modern malaise and psychological burnout. It avoids traditional depictions of stable family life, instead showing long-term relationships as sources of tension and stagnation. The film gains strength by criticizing Western social structures and the pressures of modern life. By highlighting the protagonist's decline, it challenges the idea of a perfect family unit. However, the film falls short in representing diverse groups. It lacks meaningful portrayals of racial diversity, LGBTQ+ identities, and characters with disabilities.

Official Synopsis

Antony, a stressed out, grown up, toy collector, has lost his youthful ways. Perhaps he lost his vigor through years of telemarketing, or it could be his constant struggle with the modern world. But maybe, just maybe it's because he finds himself in a loveless relationship with his lady of ten years, ROSE. Is it time for Antony to grow up and join the new age "sonic healing cult"? Or will he take the sage advice offered by his 7 year old nephew and find himself again?
