AI Analysis

Angels operates within the established boundaries of the mystery-thriller genre. The narrative relies on conventional tropes, such as the interrupted investigator and the media's role in revisiting cold cases, rather than challenging social hierarchies. The film's structure follows a traditional procedural lens. By centering on a male officer's struggle and a standard criminal investigation, the work maintains a conventional approach to storytelling that lacks visible intersectional complexity.
