The film operates as a conventional 1990s genre thriller, emphasizing masculine archetypes of duty and vengeance over social critique. The narrative structure relies heavily on traditional formulas, centering the story on male officers and their pursuit of retribution. Representation is limited across most categories. The film reinforces traditional gender hierarchies and lacks visible diversity, defaulting to a homogeneous casting style common in mid-90s action-horror. While the film touches on mental health through a character's psychological state, it treats these elements as plot devices for supernatural suspense rather than meaningful explorations of disability or neurodivergence.
Category Breakdown
