In a lush and lively forest lives a hedgehog. He is at once admired, respected and envied by the other animals. However, Hedgehog’s unwavering devotion to his home annoys and mystifies a quartet of insatiable beasts: a cunning fox, an angry wolf, a gluttonous bear and a muddy boar. Together, the haughty brutes march off towards Hedgehog’s home to see just what is so precious about this “castle, shiny and huge.” What they find amazes them and sparks a tense and prickly standoff.

AI Analysis
Hedgehog's Home succeeds in using non-human archetypes to explore complex social dynamics. By centering the story on a singular protagonist against a group of 'insatiable beasts,' the film disrupts traditional narrative hierarchies and explores individual agency against systemic pressure. However, the film lacks explicit identity-based representation. While the animal metaphors provide a unique way to examine social interaction and 'the other,' the absence of specific LGBTQ+ or disability-related depictions limits its direct diversity impact. Ultimately, the film is a character-driven study of domesticity and intrusion. It offers a subtle critique of consumerist values through its focus on the intrinsic meaning of the hedgehog's home.
