Steve, a young professional snowboarder, ruins a high-paying photo shoot by playing a silly prank. He, his girlfriend Branka and fellow snowboarder Joschi are left behind on the mountain. They seek shelter in an après-ski tavern that is hosting an all-night party. Things go from bad to worse when a scientific experiment unleashes an epidemic of zombies and mutant wildlife. This is mostly lost on the local drunkards, as they are not always easy to distinguish from zombies themselves. But Steve, Branka and Joschi have to find a way to survive this hellish night.

LGBTQ+ Representation
The story centers on a heterosexual romantic pairing between Steve and Branka. There is no evidence of non-cisnormative identities or narratives that challenge heteronormativity.
Gender Representation
The film follows traditional dynamics with a male protagonist driving the conflict. While Branka is a core survivor, the narrative does not subvert established gender hierarchies.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
Set in a specific European context, the film focuses on a localized, culturally homogeneous group. It lacks evidence of a diverse ensemble or race-bent casting.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The film utilizes Austrian or Bavarian ski culture as a backdrop. It uses local traditions and the 'drunkard' trope as comedic devices rather than social critiques.
Disability Representation
No characters are identified as having visible or invisible disabilities. The zombie element serves as a genre trope rather than a representation of disability.

AI Analysis
Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies is a genre-driven comedy-horror that prioritizes survival tropes and localized settings over social commentary. The narrative follows a traditional disaster framework within an après-ski environment. The film leans heavily into its specific cultural backdrop, utilizing regional traditions for comedic effect. However, this focus results in a homogeneous cast that lacks intersectional depth or diverse representation. Ultimately, the work functions as a conventional piece of niche filmmaking. It relies on established genre archetypes rather than attempting to deconstruct social hierarchies or identity politics.
