AI Analysis

Pulimurugan is a traditionalist action film that prioritizes archetypal heroism and established social hierarchies. The narrative centers on hyper-masculinity, where the protagonist's agency is tied to his physical prowess and role as a protector. While the film achieves regional authenticity by reflecting the local demographic of Kerala, it does not attempt to challenge the ethnic status quo or introduce intersectional perspectives. The story functions within a conventional moral framework, focusing on individual vigilantism against local corruption. Ultimately, the film reinforces patriarchal structures and traditional gender roles. It lacks representation for LGBTQ+ identities and disability, focusing instead on the physical dominance of its central male figure.
