While the film provides a balanced gender dynamic through its central protagonists, it lacks depth in other areas of representation. There is no visible engagement with LGBTQ+ identities, racial diversity, or disability representation. Ultimately, the film operates within standard genre expectations. It functions as a conventional family horror piece without intentional progressive messaging or intersectional character arcs.
