Battle Planet follows a typical science fiction storyline centered on a single hero's journey. The narrative emphasizes a military mission and the maintenance of a centralized authority, the New World Alliance. The film sticks to conventional genre formulas, focusing on state-sanctioned enforcement and institutional stability. It does not intentionally subvert social hierarchies or explore diverse identities. Overall, the film serves as a standard mid-budget sci-fi piece that upholds established institutional values rather than exploring diverse perspectives.
