New Showbiz Analysis

Dogman is a visceral exploration of socioeconomic instability and the erosion of personal ability to act. It deconstructs traditional masculine dominance, replacing strength with psychological entrapment and vulnerability. The film's strength lies in its sophisticated critique of capitalism and its refusal to offer a conventional moral compass. However, it lacks representation of LGBTQ+ identities and racial diversity, focusing narrowly on an Italian urban context.
