AI Analysis

Stalked at 17 is a conventional domestic thriller that follows a linear progression of interpersonal crisis. The narrative relies heavily on established genre tropes, specifically the predatory partner and the cycle of domestic abuse. The film operates within a traditional heteronormative framework, focusing on a heterosexual relationship and reproductive vulnerability. It lacks the intentionality required to disrupt social tropes or offer intersectional perspectives. Ultimately, the work reinforces existing cinematic patterns rather than challenging social or cultural hierarchies. It functions as a standard genre piece centered on individual conflict rather than systemic issues.
