AI Analysis

Betsy functions as a conventional survivalist horror film centered on personal resilience. The narrative architecture focuses on a single protagonist's attempt to reclaim agency after a traumatic event, rather than exploring broader social dynamics. The film lacks visible markers of identity politics or systemic critique. While it provides a platform for female agency through its lead character, it does not demonstrate an intentionality to disrupt traditional social hierarchies. Ultimately, the work adheres to standard independent horror tropes. It lacks the intersectional depth or diverse representation required to move beyond a baseline genre experience.
