AI Analysis

Paper Mask is a psychological thriller that prioritizes themes of class mobility and professional deception over identity-based storytelling. The narrative succeeds in disrupting medical hierarchies by centering on an orderly who assumes a physician's identity. While the film lacks intersectional representation, it provides a nuanced look at how social roles are performed. The subversion of authority provides a layer of social commentary, even if it remains within traditional dramatic structures. Ultimately, the film's diversity is limited by its focus on individual transgression rather than broader social or cultural representation.
