New Showbiz Analysis

The film employs social satire to explore class tensions and economic disparities. By focusing on the conflict between a wealthy family and a janitor couple, it delves into systemic inequalities. The casting reflects a commitment to ethnic diversity, moving beyond conventional European stereotypes. This inclusive approach enhances the examination of the French social hierarchy. However, the film lacks visible representation of LGBTQ+ identities and disabilities. Additionally, the role and depth of female characters remain uncertain, raising questions about the film's ability to challenge traditional power structures.
