AI Analysis

Scissors operates as a standard genre-driven horror-comedy. While the female-led ensemble provides a baseline for gendered agency, the film lacks intersectional complexity. The narrative relies heavily on established slasher tropes without introducing diverse identities. The focus on influencer culture provides a contemporary setting, but the film does not yet demonstrate a commitment to progressive narrative disruption. It appears to follow traditional genre expectations rather than challenging social norms.
