Fair

While set in Seattle, the film does not explicitly confirm a diverse or non-white cast. The story follows standard mystery tropes without highlighting specific ethnic blending.

AI Analysis

Mystery 101: Dead Talk is a conventional genre piece that prioritizes plot mechanics over social deconstruction. It succeeds in centering a female intellectual as the catalyst for the investigation, providing a moderate subversion of gendered authority. However, the film lacks the intersectional layering necessary for a higher score. It does not provide visible representation for LGBTQ+ identities or disability, and the racial composition of the cast remains unconfirmed.
