New Showbiz Analysis

The film functions as a traditional suspense piece that relies heavily on established genre clichés. It prioritizes a straightforward thriller narrative over challenging existing social or narrative hierarchies. Representation is limited, with the story focusing on traditional heterosexual conflicts within a conventional socioeconomic framework. Characters adhere to standard archetypes that reinforce, rather than challenge, existing social structures. Ultimately, the film lacks the intentionality needed to provide meaningful characters who reflect more than one aspect of diversity, maintaining a narrow focus on domestic intrusion and identity theft.
