AI Analysis
Don't Tell is a focused character study that prioritizes psychological depth over demographic breadth. It succeeds in centering female agency, using Sabina's internal struggle to drive the plot and challenge traditional patriarchal family structures. However, the film remains culturally and demographically narrow. The focus on a specific Italian socio-economic stratum and the absence of LGBTQ+ or multi-ethnic representation limit its intersectional reach. Ultimately, the film is a specialized drama. It trades broad social visibility for a deep, nuanced exploration of repressed trauma and individual liberation.
