AI Analysis
How Many Days Will It Last is a grounded study of how macro-level socioeconomic shifts dismantle micro-level domestic stability. By focusing on a working-class couple facing urban regeneration and job loss, the film highlights the friction between individual agency and institutional power. The film succeeds in deconstructing the myth of the stable family. It portrays systemic instability not as a passive state, but as a direct consequence of state-led initiatives and economic volatility. While the narrative lacks queer or disability representation, it offers a strong critique of capitalist structures and the marginalization caused by urban development.
