Max is a battle-weary veteran of the wedding-planning racket. His latest — and last — gig is a hell of a fête, involving stuffy period costumes for the caterers, a vain, hyper- sensitive singer who thinks he's a Gallic James Brown, and a morose, micromanaging groom determined to make Max's night as miserable as possible. But what makes the affair too bitter to endure is that Max's colleague and ostensible girlfriend, Joisette, seems to have written him off, coolly going about her professional duties while openly flirting with a much younger server. It's going to be a very long night… especially once the groom's aerial serenade gets underway.

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The story centers on romantic tensions and interpersonal friction among the wedding staff. It lacks explicit depictions of non-cisnormative identities or narratives that specifically critique heteronormativity.
Gender Representation
Female characters demonstrate professional agency and emotional complexity. Joisette, for instance, maintains her own social and romantic autonomy, avoiding the trope of the submissive female lead.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
The film presents a multicultural microcosm through its diverse cast. This multi-ethnic French society is integrated organically into the service and guest populations rather than appearing as tokenism.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The narrative offers a subtle critique of the performative nature of traditional wedding rituals. It frames characters through their personal neuroses and the systemic stresses of social institutions.
Disability Representation
There is no significant evidence of characters with visible or invisible disabilities driving the plot. The focus remains on personality clashes and neuroses rather than disability representation.

AI Analysis
The film excels at portraying a multi-ethnic professional landscape as a lived reality. By integrating diverse backgrounds into the service staff and guest list, it reflects a modern, pluralistic society without making diversity a central 'issue.' However, the film lacks depth in specific identity-based representation. It misses opportunities to explore LGBTQ+ identities or provide meaningful portrayals of characters with disabilities, focusing instead on general personality-driven comedy. Ultimately, the work succeeds as a study of social friction. It disrupts the expectation of a homogeneous social gathering, presenting a complex environment where traditional hierarchies are softened by shared chaos.
