New Showbiz Analysis

Seven Minutes operates as a conventional romantic ensemble comedy. Despite having a female director and a diverse range of character voices, the narrative remains anchored in traditional romantic structures and social patterns typical of its time. The ensemble format offers a platform for varied perspectives, but the core themes of speed dating and digital romance follow well-established genre conventions. This results in a film that explores modern intimacy without significantly challenging existing social norms.

Official Synopsis
