AI Analysis
All Cheerleaders Die functions as a subversion of the typical horror power dynamic. It moves away from the 'damsel in distress' trope by granting female characters supernatural agency through a witches' coven. This shift effectively disrupts the patriarchal structure represented by the football players. However, the film lacks depth in other intersectional areas. There is no evidence of racial diversity or explicit LGBTQ+ representation, which limits its progressive impact. The narrative remains centered on a specific gendered conflict without expanding into broader social identities. Ultimately, the film's strength lies in its cultural and gendered rebellion. It trades traditional social order for a decentralized, occult-driven empowerment that challenges conventional genre expectations.
