AI Analysis

Montage operates as a standard genre thriller that prioritizes procedural realism and social tension. While it offers a platform for female agency through its central protagonist, the narrative architecture remains largely traditional. It focuses on individual restorative justice rather than a deconstruction of identity politics. The film's strengths lie in its localized storytelling and its ability to use a crime-drama lens to critique institutional incompetence. However, the lack of intersectional representation limits its scope. Ultimately, the film functions within established genre tropes, providing a focused look at maternal trauma and systemic failure without expanding into broader social or identity-based themes.
