New Showbiz Analysis

In Bed is a character-driven thriller that centers queer identities within a high-tension framework. It successfully disrupts traditional straight-centered structures by making LGBTQ+ identities central to the story. The film's strength lies in its visceral exploration of trauma and hedonism, offering a fragmented, realistic look at how underrepresented communities navigate systemic violence. However, the narrative remains localized in its demographic scope, focusing heavily on male perspectives and limiting the breadth of racial and ethnic representation.
