AI Analysis

Centigrade operates within a highly conventional survival thriller framework. The narrative focuses on a young American couple trapped in a snowstorm, prioritizing the immediate physical struggle against nature over complex social or intersectional themes. Because the story adheres to traditionalist structures, it lacks the disruption of social hierarchies or the inclusion of marginalized identities. The characters appear to fit standard Western protagonist models, offering little in the way of cultural or racial subversion. Ultimately, the film relies on established genre tropes. It provides a baseline survival experience without the presence of diverse perspectives or the deconstruction of traditional Western institutions.
