The narrative relies heavily on established horror-comedy archetypes, focusing on an external alien threat rather than internal identity dynamics. The film lacks intentional diverse representation, sticking to conventional demographic structures. The characters and setting reflect the homogeneous social norms typical of rural-set horror from this era.
