AI Analysis
Going All the Way is a period-specific character study that prioritizes individual emotional arcs over the disruption of social structures. The film maintains a traditionalist approach to its mid-century setting, focusing on the friction of returning to civilian life. While the film explores the complexities of post-war readjustment, it stays within the bounds of conventional romantic and coming-of-age drama. The narrative architecture relies on standard social expectations of the era rather than progressive reconfiguration. Ultimately, the film's lack of intersectional breadth and its adherence to historical social norms result in a narrow representation of the American experience.
