New Showbiz Analysis

Ventura Pons' *Adrift* dismantles traditional social structures by presenting fluid approaches to sexual identity and gender roles. The film centers on emotional and existential questions through a lens of modern, subjective values. However, its focus on a specific European demographic limits its racial and ethnic diversity. Additionally, while a character with paralysis provides a meaningful connection, the portrayal primarily serves as a catalyst for the protagonist's development rather than a comprehensive exploration of disability.
