New Showbiz Analysis

Followers functions primarily as a critique of digital voyeurism rather than a platform for identity-focused storytelling. Although it presents a non-Western perspective through its South Korean setting and East Asian cast, it does not delve deeply into multi-layered themes. The narrative adheres closely to typical mystery clichés without significantly challenging social hierarchies or representing diverse identities. It successfully offers a unique cultural viewpoint on modern digital society but falls short in integrating varied character arcs into its core structure.
