AI Analysis

Sorority Wars operates as a traditional genre piece that prioritizes interpersonal melodrama and social conformity. The narrative architecture relies heavily on conventional coming-of-age tropes and the reinforcement of existing social hierarchies. While the protagonist exercises agency by defying her mother's expectations, the film's focus remains on the preservation of sorority traditions. This emphasis on legacy and institutional belonging limits the scope for more progressive or intersectional storytelling. Ultimately, the film reflects the standard demographic and thematic patterns of Lifetime original programming from its era, favoring familiar social structures over diverse or subversive representation.
