New Showbiz Analysis

UFC 251 is a professional sporting event rather than a scripted narrative, which limits its capacity for intentional storytelling that reflects multiple aspects of identity. While it lacks gender and LGBTQ+ diversity, it excels in racial and ethnic representation through its international roster. The event's location in the United Arab Emirates provides a non-Western backdrop, though the content remains a commercialized global product. The high level of ethnic diversity among the athletes provides a significant counterpoint to Western-centric sports media. Ultimately, the score reflects the specialized nature of an athletic broadcast. The absence of female participants and scripted character arcs prevents a higher aggregate diversity score.
