The plot centers on a policeman and his family, leaning heavily into traditional social frameworks and archetypes. The film lacks intentional intersectional representation. It does not engage with the complexities of identity politics, nor does it attempt to subvert established social hierarchies or provide diverse perspectives on race, gender, or orientation.
