The Prince is a character-driven drama that centers queer intimacy as a core narrative engine. By focusing on the bond between Jaime and 'The Stallion,' the film explores survival and emotional loyalty. The film also excels at deconstructing traditional masculinity. Rather than relying on hyper-masculine dominance, the story highlights vulnerability and interdependence within the prison hierarchy. While the film provides a strong non-Western perspective through its Chilean setting, it lacks specific details regarding ethnic breakdown or disability representation.
