Devil's Town is a localized socio-political critique that emphasizes social realism over identity-based representation. It excels at deconstructing the post-conflict social structures of Belgrade, using a multi-protagonist format to explore a fractured society. While the film provides a nuanced critique of traditional frameworks, it lacks explicit representation of diverse identity groups. The film's strength lies in its complex, relativistic view of modern existence, even if it does not explicitly feature diverse identity groups.
